✦ My name is Lera. Russian is my native language. I was born and raised in Moscow. I also speak English, a little Italian, and I am currently learning Dutch.
✦ We can talk about all sorts of topics, and as we chat, we can see how grammar works and study new vocabulary. We can also play games, discuss articles, videos, and books, and read together. The main thing is that you find it interesting and helpful. I ask for feedback so I can better understand what you need and make our lessons more useful for you.
✦ During class, I write down all the new words and phrases in a Google Doc. I also save all the materials there: links, images, tables, and exercises. After class, you can always open this Google Doc to review what we covered or do the exercises if you prefer to work on them on your own.
✦ I believe that lessons work best when teacher and student communicate as equals. We’re adults now, and we’re not in school anymore: -) I also believe that support plays a huge role in tackling any challenge, especially one as long-term as learning a language.
✧ Lessons for all levels, from the basics to the most advanced.
✧ Classes are on Zoom, but if you prefer another method of communication, please let me know.
✧ You can cancel or reschedule a lesson up to 12 hours before it starts. If you want to cancel or reschedule later than that, it’s still possible. However, if this happens frequently, we’ll need to discuss it :)
